Ore Cart Shuttle Service Passenger Conduct

All passengers using the Ore Cart Shuttle Service are expected to follow acceptable rules of conduct to ensure a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for everyone. The Ore Cart shuttle operator reserves the right to deny service or ask a passenger to exit the vehicle if any portion of this code of conduct is not followed.

Passenger Code of Conduct

1. Harassment

   It is prohibited to engage in any form of harassment, including verbal abuse, threats, intimidation, unwanted physical contact, sexual harassment, offensive or discriminatory conduct, or any other behavior that harasses, alarms, or distresses another person.
2. Threatening Language
   It is prohibited to use violent, profane, or intimidating language that causes others to feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
3. Illegal Activity
   Any illegal activity under any applicable federal, state, or local law, ordinance, or regulation, including but not limited to assault; menacing; theft; possession of or use of illegal drugs on shuttles; counterfeiting; littering; vandalism; hindering public transportation (CRS 18-9-114); and endangering public transportation (CRS 18-9-115), is prohibited.
4. Noise Levels
   It is prohibited to play audio aloud without headphones or engage in excessively loud talking or disruptive noises that disturb others.
5. Vandalism
   It is prohibited to deface, damage, or tamper with shuttle property, including seats, windows, signage, and equipment.
6. Smoking or Vaping
   It is prohibited to smoke or use e-cigarettes, vaping devices, or any marijuana- or tobacco-related products on Ore Cart shuttles.
7. Open Alcoholic Beverages
   It is prohibited to consume alcoholic beverages or possess open containers of alcohol on Ore Cart shuttles.
8. Distracting the Driver
   It is prohibited to engage in behavior that distracts or interferes with the driver’s ability to operate the shuttle safely.
9. Belongings
   It is prohibited to bring weapons, explosives, flammable materials, or other hazardous objects onto the shuttle.
   It is prohibited to leave luggage or personal items in walkways or in a manner that obstructs others or takes up seating space, including accessible seating space. All belongings must fit securely on the passenger’s lap or under the seat.
10. Animals on Shuttles
    Only service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are allowed to ride on Ore Cart shuttles.
